NEW COURSE:
Native Plants for the Landscape

Learn the most rewarding and satisfying way to landscape—to attract birds and butterflies to your home with naturally-adapted native plants.

In this 4-week series, you will learn and then actually practice what you've learned. We'll cover excellent choice native ferns, shrubs, ornamental grasses, flowers, and trees. By the end of the series you will know some 50+ native plants as though they were personal friends, and you’ll have sound ideas on how to put them together to bring beauty and ease, as well as feathers and wings, to your own landscape.

Class will be taught by veteran landscape designer Christina Pax, MLD. She is currently Lead Designer for the Native Plant Landscape Design Center at Adkins Arboretum. She has designed hundreds of landscapes for homeowners and small businesses in the Mid-Atlantic area. She regularly speaks to large and small audiences and has taught numerous workshops and training sessions for colleges, non-profits, and both local and state-level master gardener training programs.

The next course will be held on Saturday mornings, 10:30-noon, for 4 consecutive weeks, in the Annapolis area. Dates are Feb 2, 9, 16, and 25th. (Interested but can’t make Saturdays? Tell me below.)

Course cost: $175.
Earlybird discount price: $150; pay by Jan 6.
Bring-a-friend price $150 each; pay by Jan 20.
